BURNER FUEL SALES

In years past, Hydro Pure sold burner fuel to local asphalt plants and commercial clientele for heating purposes. However, in 2019, the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad retrofitted their steam powered locomotives to burn used oil instead of coal. In 2020, the D&SNG was able to have a successful year with their first converted locomotive. In the future they will be retrofitting most of the fleet to oil burners. The D&SNG chose Hydro Pure as their Burner Fuel supplier because of the high quality of the on spec used oil and timely hassle-free deliveries. After retrofitting a couple of trains, The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad also made the decision to use Hydro Pure as their Burner Fuel supplier.
